Can I withdraw from my 401k?

I have 2k in medical bills, which is the remainder of what my insurance did not cover from the birth of my son. I have bills as proof, could I withdraw the amount to cover the balance. I am 100% vested. I have about 9k in 401k and only need 2k. I am not able to do a loan on my retirement.
