Law Enforcement- Question regarding mental illness and becoming an officer?

Hey guys. Thanks for reading first off. I am diagnosed with a mental illness. Bipolar with psychosis. I am being treated and am doing well so far. I am deciding upon what I want to go to college for and do as a career and law enforcement has always been interesting for me. Will my condition hold me back? Like I know they have a psych test, will having this condition be a dis qualifier if I am taking medicine and doing okay? I have taken those 700 paqe psych tests and pass no problem but as for the condition itself, will that disqualify me? or will it be okay as long as I am on meds? Thanks again
