How to get into swimming at college?

Start swimming in meets to get your times on record, and call/email the coaches at the schools you're interested in going to. Let them know who you are, that you want to be one of their swimmers, what you're capable of time-wise, and ask about getting into their program. They will be impressed by your initiative.
