How to except Google+ invite?

I got an invite by email, and the subject is you've been invited to Google plus, but in the email its just things saying (Guy who invited me) posted, click here to view there post. So I click the link and it says to sign into my Google account, but after I sign in it says I need an invite, which is what the purpose of the email is. Can someone tell me how to create an account with the invite? Also, I heard Google+ stopped excepting new people for the time being, but if this is true when it opens up again how would I do it with the invite I got? Thx in advance!
