Question on adding pounds and ounces, where have I gone wrong?
Add 35lb 9oz, 75lb 14oz, 85lb 15oz; from the sum take 186lb 14oz; multiply the remainder by 8; divide the product by 64; what is the result? Answer 1lb 5 oz. Can someone show me the working in full please - I keep getting 1lb and 33/64 left over, where have I gone wrong?
