Dojo loaches and goldfish dying?

two days ago i lost a goldfish, and today i lost 2 golden dojo loaches. i have a 30 gallon tank with three carnival goldfish and 1 golden dojo loach. why are they dying? they look fine one day and are dead the next. how can i save the remainders?
