What type of tampon should i get and are playtex sport harderto insert?

i have only used a tampon once yrday and im going to town today to get some more but i dont know what to get. i used the tampax pearl regular plastic applicator and nonscented. it leaked a little but i think that i didnt put it in quite far enough and i keept in too long. and have you tryed playtex? what are the kinda of playtex and the shapes of the playtex ones. what is your oppinion on them? thx!:)
